which do you like better? french or american apple pie?

well, i live french apple pie simply because of the crumbs on top, and it served with caramel sauce and ice cream...pie a la monde.. so delish! but i also like the american version.... hehe...even the fried ones sold by mcdonalds...hahaha

We call the pie with the crumbs on top Dutch apple pie. Never heard of french apple pie before. I love dutch apple pie. It is my sons favorite too.

If the crust is really well made I actually prefer the American style apple pie. Granted if someone felt the need to offer me some Dutch or French apple pie I would not turn it down.
