Have you received an email on winning a lottery?  

Most liley to be a scam. I have received like 20 of these. I saw a woman who actually went through with it and they told her to pay like 300 for a processing fee and they would send her the money.. but that never happened.. Anyways there are people that do belive it and its becomming a problem i mean seriously. When you sign up for something on the internet and you put your email address in ... you could be giving your info to potentially dangerous people that is why i use a different address when signing up for things on the internet and one for personal use.

Yes I get them alot and each time I get them I just delete them I never respond to any of them.

I've received a few of them. I don't waste my time on opening the email. because I know its bogus and 100% scam. I mean, how could I win any lottery if I don't even join in one? much more lotteries from other countries! I don't even join local lotteries! and I don't submit my email address to any contest in the web.

just recently i've received an email informing me that I am an heir to some wealthy man with the same surname as mine. its very pathetic coz its very clear that its a scam. we maybe not the only people in the world with our surname but that doesn't mean everybody with the same surname are our relatives. c'mon! why do the waste their pathetic energy on this??

not only that, twice or thrice i've received anonymous text messages telling me to give them load because they have to call me and talk to me about an urgent matter. crap! as if i'd fall for that. pathetic.

I wish these people would just stop!

i got these kind of emails in my mail box everyday,and it's totally scam!well,it's possible to get bunches of email address on internet with an email collector software,or spyware to hack some low security website.the cheater sent those blind email to million of people,if one believe in and response to them then their cheating plan would succeed.the best way to avoid been cheated,don't response to the email they sent and delete it immediately.

Yeah ive gotten emails where it says ive won the lottery I got one for the first time a few years ago. I actually thought I won because I wasnt aware of internet scams at that time lol. But it gave me an email and for me to put down my adress and stuff like that. Then i got another email saying I must pay a certin amount inorder to recive the check then I asked if they could take it out of my winnigs and they said no you cannot. So I didnt which im glad I didnt fall for that because that would of been heartbreaking lol.

i have received this email not only once but many times.but what i wonder is how will i win a lottery when the fact is i haven't enrolled in any?but i would be honest in saying that when i got such a mail for the first time, i was very elated and i called up my uncle to confirm it.(my uncle knows a lot about these).

the e-mail asked me to give my details to them so that they can send me the prize money.so my uncle said me to do that but with his name and address.i did that and the person replied also.i had mentioned to give the money by means of draft but he refused and said we pay only by cheque and since you are not from our country you have to pay something in return as some tax or something i don't remember actually.then i understood that all these are scams and they are in no mood to pay me but are actually deceiving me.i learnt a lesson from this and from then on i just delete if i see such mails in my inbox.

Yes I have receive them almost everyday in my email. I just don't open them and just mark it scammed. But those scammers seems not tired of doing the same thing again and again. Well, they could send me as many as they want but they wont get anything from me. I don't even open the mails. Well, thanks for the warning. :)

I am yet to receive this one. But I have received similar "You have won lottery or jackpot" mails from some others. The first and the only that one needs to do on receiving such mails is to just delete the message and add the address to spam list, which does not help most of the time, as these spammers change their E-Mail addresses very often and use, I guess, some randomly generated names.

I has got some mails and few times I had also responded and requested to send by post or mail to my address. Later few of my friends also got the same. I hope it is a scam. If lottery is won I hope they will pay it as early as possible and contact by phone of other reliable source.
