Do you think these types of pills are any good? Do you think they are safe? I've always been leary of taking any kid of energy pill. I got an email about a controversy surrounding Energy-Matrix. It seems that for the past eight months Olympic and professional athletes have been using a controversial new energy and focus pill to boost their performance on the playing field. Now, tired, average Americans have picked up on this trend and are using this same pill to kick-start their performance in everyday life. It also seems that the drug companies are wanting to stop it. Anybody heard of this? Here is the web page the article sent me too.

I won't touch energy drinks, diet pills, or anything other than natural vitamins and meds for pain.

No, I hadn't heard of it.
The problem that I see with using something like this would be the possibility of it being overused.
People need sleep when they get tired, and to me it seems this would enable a person to stay awake a lot longer than they should, thereby depriving themselves of needed rest.
This can't be healthy of good for you and over the long term could cause some serious health issues.
When you are overly tired your stress level increases, and that could lead to mental issues.
I personally don't see this as a good thing.
