School tution fees: In Government Schools: $1 per month x 10 months In private SChools : between $10 & $30 per month x 12 months Regarding college fees, it has wide variation depending on the course. Art courses like History, Geography, Economics, Civics, Logic etc the fees is less. Engineering and electronics subject costs more. If a student gets a merit seat (on the basis of high performance in entrance exam), one can get a set in University college for a fees of $1000 per year. If the students is having less marks, he can still join the College Management Quota seat where he will be paying between $3000 to $10000 depending on the course. For medical and Dental, it is even higher than those. In India, private colleges are minting money.

Hai, Thanks for giving my response a BR. I interact with school and college students in my business premises, Most of my customers are college students. My son is studying in school, so also my newphews and neices are studying. Hence I am having a fairly good idea about education. Besides, the Common Entrance Examination Board is just a meters away from my house and students from all over the country come here to take up exams to seek entry into professional courses. Threfore I know about the payment seat cost, government quota seat cost, Management Seat quota costs.

I'm a Malaysian. I'm currently a private university student and the tuition fee is around RM5000 (1400-1500USD) per long semester, and we are having two long semester and one short semester for a year. the fee for short semester fee is cheaper (according to the credit hour we need to take), which is mostly below RM1000 (around 300USD).. However, my university is actually one of the private universities which is having the cheapest tuition fee in my country..

I live in central Canada, and my university tuition cost about $5000 per year (but that was five years ago already - so it's gone up since). Although it depends on exactly what you're studying, and which school you attend. Some schools cost more than others, and some degrees cost more or less than others.
