Irritating, Annoying TV Commercials!

the Afflack commericals with the duck get on my nerves, also the geico comericals

There is a commercial for Head and Shoulders shampoo which is seems to come on my tv all the time and i hate it! It has an extremely irritating guy on it with all these different hairstyles for different occasions and he looks like a total loser with most of them! It doesn't stop me buying the shampoo but i hate that guy!! lol

I hate the head on/activon/etc commercials, too. I also hate that car commercial that has a song to the tune of "the wheels on the bus" but instead it says "The hill descent controls go nice and slow, nice and slow nice and slow.." It played like 100 times during one program one night and I thought I'd throw something at the tv.

There is one, but it's starting to spread. The Enzyte commercial. The whistling, Smiling Bob, that grinning on Bob's face, it's starting to get on my nerves. "With an offer this big, it's enough to throw a parade!" That kind. It's on Spike TV, G4 TV, and other channels.

I have two, the Visa commericals where everything stops because of someone is using money. And the Subway commericals where people order being fat instead of food. With both I wrote the company and said that their commerical is having the opposite effect. I will never eat at Subway and with Visa , their commerical made me want to use my Visa card less. with other commericals in the past, I would change the channel, and sometimes I wouldn't come back and I would boycott the product until the comerical was not being aired anymore.That is what I did with a Subway commerical before. But after these latest comericals, I will never go to eat at Subway.It took me some time but I realized that Master Card ann McDonald's must be beating Visa and Subway beacuse they had to stoop so low to air these type of commericals.

I do not mind commercials. I do think that Visa commercial when it looks like everything is like clockwork until it stops, very silly. I also think the Subway commercials or the other commercial about Fedex rather funny. But I did not say," how horrible! shock shock how dare they!" If you want to see bad commercials you should look at the older A & W commercials we had here in Canada. They had this obsequious little guy. That was when our former, dictator - I mean, our prime minister Chretian was in power. The best is the Staples Commercial when you just have to press the Easy Button and there is another commercial about Lanocaine (or the other cream) where it says, "You are outside, enjoying the moment when suddenly it hits you." the little girl says, "look a bunny!" and the father flies into the barbecue set.

Old Navy Commercials for certain. There's also this Ipod Nano commercial that bugs me. Really, I hate a lot of commercials that have bad songs playing in them and I don't like having to see the same commercial on every commercial break. Commercials never have any bearing on whether I buy or do not buy products whether I like the commercial (there aren't many) or not. Commercials need to stick in peoples head so that when they go to the store they associate the two. mostly it's for the better. really. I used to work in broadcasting. That's how it works.

You said it.....HEAD ON! Ugh I really hate that commercial. Although when it comes on I have a bit of fun with my hubby and pop him playfully across the forehead with the palm of my hand. LOL But he will get me back with the BAM cleaner commercial. Oh and then they came out with the newer ones with the people walking onto the screen to say "I hate your commercial but you product is wonderful", or whatever they say. I HATED to see that scraggly haired woman come on, it looks like they pulled the first person they saw off the street. They couldnt comb her hair first?? LOL I dont think it would have any bearing, if anything I would remember the commercial from my hatred and who knows, it might just be a really good product. Like you though, I dont think I would buy any Head On. I like motrin for my headaches. Bay Lay Gray xx
