Of course theirs a way to for total protection, I don't trust ad-aware. I trust only Acronis and deepfreez. Acronis you can google it and download it, you can backup your hardisk partition to DVD-R disks. Deepfreez you can get your total protection. But both have the same disadvantages. Acronis is that when you intalled your backup you will loose some new updates from your computer because it will install the system from when you backup it. So I think I don't personally advice to use it. Other option is deepfreez, for me its the best you can try it by dowloading their 60 day evaluation trial from www.faronics.com. . Just to remind you before you update or save files you need to disabled deepfreez (they called it thawed mode). I know its sounds alot of work but its save lots of time of re-installing your system from scratch or worst days.

It is a very fast and well equipped firewall which never gives any problem and works on a computer pretty well unstuck all in all I feel it is a very good choice. It has regular updates so you can the Congress tension free about the new virus threats.

I agree that avira antivir is one of the best antivirus available. Install it and you should be fairly safe enough from everyday threats around the net.
