| Aliant Keeps Double Billing Me.....Is This Happeneing to Anyone Else? | | | | I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I receive all of my services, cellphone, home phone, long distance, internet, and tv from Aliant. We recently moved and resultingly had all of our services moved. We kept our mailbox in the toawn where we used to live until it runs out becuase we wanted to make sure we had everything coming to our new address before we gave it up. Well. We receive an Aliant bill each month to our home mail box for all the services that we have. Then we also receive a second bill for just our cellphones (which is also included in the first bill) to our old mailing address. The second bill shows our cellphone numbers, which show up right, but has a different account number on it. So they are trying to bill use twoice for the same cellphones. We have been into the Aliant store many times, the people ther are helpful an always baffled as to how these issue occur. They call thier head office and are told to tell us that the problem has been fixed, but thent he next month, yet again, we get 2 spearate bills for the same service. I am getting SOOOOOOO fed up. I want to change my service to another provider but currently Aliant is the only provider on my road. This is getting to the point where I am considering taking a survey of all the homes on this road to try to get enough people who would buy Eastlink service if they had the option to convince Estlink to run thier lines up this road. Does anyone else here, specifically people in Nova Scotia, Canada, have this problem with this companys? If you do get your services from Aliant please take my valuable advice and DOUBLE CHECK EVERY BILL that you ever recieve from Aliant. I found out just last month that over the course of last year they had over billed me $260. Needless to say I made them credit it back but had I not noticed they would have continued to over bill me $20 every month. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Yeah they suck. Just today we had to go into the store and get them to reverse a charge for a missing modem that was not actually missing (I had returned it to the store manager). Our cellphones work like crap in our area too. We have to keep them though because we hav a contract. | | | | vicki2876 (3283)

| | Yeah I thought I had to keep mine too because it was a 3 year contract endind May 2008, but when I talked to them on the phone they said it was over this past May 2007 so I said oh get rid of it. Yeah! I haven't been in too many areas where it did work great either. I used to think it was like what you see on tv, clear and stuff, but when my sister calls me on her cell phone in Toronto I can hear static too. Cells suck from my experience. | | | | | | | BlackBerry® Official Site Stay in touch with the people and information that matter most. BlackBerry.com | add comment | | | |
