I can't believe the Rockies have been getting destroyed that bad. I figured it would be a series and wouldn't end in a sweep but geez, are the Rockies even trying? I don't get it at all. Boston is on the verge of taking their 7th World Series title and 2nd since 2004. I'm just surprised it's nearly over just like that. Colorado really needs to get on the ball and put some effort into their team. It's like they're almost letting Boston walk all over them. I realize that yes the series isn't over and yes they could come back and win it but what are the odds of that happening? Odds are this series this all but officially over. Boston has had some good pitching no questions asked about it. I'm just simply stating you'd think Colorado would have put up a better fight than they have at this very moment. Red Sox nation will be happy once the series is over. I had thought Colorado would have done a better job but I guess I was wrong. The question is are going to start Beckett and see if they can become the 2nd man (I believe) in post-season history to win 5 games, with the 1st being Randy Johnson? I would guess maybe as Wakefield isn't pitching and on the World Series roster but I don't know. Just some random notes on this. Thoughts.
