Are you a fan of a athlete but not his/her team?

I have three athletes that I really like but I am not a fan of the teams they play for.They are Ray Lewis, T.O. and Chad Johnson.In fact I Hate the Cowboys so it is weird to like him but not his current team.Has this happen to you?

Gattuso - Gennaro Gattuso is one of the best Italian Football players.
Yes. The team an athlete plays for has no importance when it comes to recognizing his true quality. For example, I am a an of Juventus Torino, but that doesn't keep me from admiring Gattuso, although he is playing for the rivals of AC Milan.

Gennaro Gattuso is a defensive midfielder and he was a coomon presence in the Italian team that won The FIFA World Cup in 2006 in Germany. He won the title in Italy with AC Milan in the 1998-1999 and 2003-2004 season, The Cup of Italy in 2002-2003, and The UEFA Champions League in 2002-2003 and 2006-2007. I'd say he's a very good player judging from these titles.

The only person I sport that I really admire is Roger Federer, no team there to be a fan of :-)
