ON the days that I am going to change water on my aquariums the angelfish start

I try to do weekly water changes on all of my aquariums but the last couple of weeks just before I was to change the water, the angelfish (I have two tanks with pairs of angelfish in them) would spawn. I want to save that babies but if I change the water the angelfish will eat the eggs (to protect them).I do not like to let the water get grungy before I change it (I only change about 25 to 30% at a time. Has anything like this happened to you? And if it did, what did you do?

I am not an expert on Angel fish..but have done fish tanks and certainly did not change the water weekly. Is your filter working properly.

I think that their "breeding cycle" is just different than my water changing and filter maintenance schedule is. I will just have to readjust my schedule to be a day or two ahead of them. I do weekly water changes on all of my tanks (ten of them) and regular filter maintenance on the filters (they do not always need to be changed weekly). I have only been in this hobby for a little over 55 years, (no I did not stutter, that is double five).
