Broken Capillaries, causes??

I dont want to go to the doctor loL!! so i am asking here for an idea of possible causes. i have tiny broken capillaries on my shins and the top of my feet, they are not spider veins, they are much much smaller than that. unless you get real close to look at them, it just looks like ive got razor burn or something. now ive seen and heard of ppl who get them on their face, like around their nose, but mine are only on the shin and top of foot. ive had family tell me its a sign of circulatory problems, diabetes, and even been told its allergies (which im pretty sure it is not). does anybody have any other ideas or experience with these and what did the doctor say?
