I would have loved in iPod honestly but parents kept complaining that it would have broken easily etc etc so...nothing...i hope someone can give you better answers...i just wanted to say something cos...well...i answered almost all of your discussions so far:p it would feel wrong to miss one, no?:p

I suggest you ipod nano, I mean the new version of ipod nano. In my country it's about USD$175 (if I convert from my currency) for 80gb capacity.
Just have it recently as a gift from my parents.
The difference with the old version is the new one has a new model in anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel, slimmer than the old one, that looks more beatiful:)
It support video now, you could watch up-to 5 hours of TV shows, music videos, movies, etc.
What's best is, the 320-by-240-resolution display, that’s 65 percent brighter than before (This is what I read from the manual).

I think that it depends on your personal taste to what kind of MP3 player you would like to have as there are so many varieties of MP3 players on sale, some of which are cheap with fewer functions and some expensive with more functions.
