| How did you lose your favorite pair of shoes?  | | | |  About a year ago, my cat got into my closet and knawed the strap off one of my shoes. I was devasted. It was a really nice pair of shoes. Very comfortable, too. I had to throw both shoes away. Now, I'm wishing I had kept my closet door shut. Who knew that cats could chew shoes. But, at least it gave me an excuse to shop for more shoes. And, that's never a bad thing!
How did you lose your favorite pair of shoes? Did they get lost while you were moving from one house to the next? Did your dog get hold of them and chew them up? Did you grow out of them?

| |  My big dumb lab ate 2 pairs of my shoes. One pair my mother gave me as a Christmas present. I spent more on them getting them resoled and reheeled than they were worth, but like I told my husband, the value of the shoes in terms of emotion means more to me than anything else.

| |  I'm just like you, only it was Ivan that tore up my church shoes. I have to keep my Sasses ($100 shoes) up out of his reach so he doesn't get hold of those. He has ruined 2 pair of my shoes and 3 pair of my daughter's shoes.
