courtesy of choice | | i've been smoking since i was five! i'm now fifty two!! and still smoking against my doctor's advise! my father died four years ago, eighty one years old, smoking to his last breath! he was a smoker for sixty six years!!! my mother died three years ago, seventy five years old, she stopped smoking when she reached sixty five! i enjoy smoking! i like the taste! with the way things are going, smokers not only literally are a dying breed, legally, we're pariahs, outcasts!! i respect non smokers right to live a healthier life!!! is it about a lenghty life or a life well lived? whose perception?

No one wants to restrict your freedom to smoke except where your smoking restricts my freedom to breathe air untainted by your foul smoke. all the best urban

Ravenladyj (17149) | 2 years ago | I started smoking when I was 8 yrs old...i'm now 37 and smoke a pack a day and more when I'm stressed...To be honest with you I really cant stand smoking BUT its my last vice so I'm not ready to quit yet...Its expensive, dirty, smelly and all those other things BUT I'm still tackling my drug and alcohol demons so my attitude is one at a time ya know....Someday I'll quit I imagine but not today, or tomorrow...or even next yr for that matter... I also dont associate smoking/drugs/drinking etc with a "life well lived"..in fact I think its the opposite really.....Living like that ISNT living well IMO...sure its good times AT THAT MOMENT but the paypacks are beyond being a b!tch ya know..

| kalipulaku (17) | 1 year ago | Sincerest condolonces to you and your family! My father died in 2002 and my mother passed away 2003. I know how it feels to lose your loved ones. You eventually recover hopefully learning from the experience and become stronger because of it. Dad was 81 when he left us, a chain smoker since he was 15. On his deathbed, we found his cigarettes nad an ashstray half filled of recently smoked cigarette stubs. My mom stopped smoking when she reached 65, she died at the age of 75. It's still a matter of CHOICE! The ultimate question would be, did you do good to your fellow man? I pray for indulgence and understanding that whatever I may have done in my life, more were meant for bettering the lives of others. let my errors be a lesson for others not to repeat but to learn from to enjoy life to its fullest! JESUS LOVES YOU!!!
