What happened on the last episode of Sliders?

Does anyone remember how the Sliders series ended? I was only able to watch a few minutes, but couldn't really figure out what was going on. Would love to know what happened to everyone. Did the original cast ever come back? Did they ever defeat the Cro Mags?
