Does anyone seriously believe vegetarians are morally superior to other people?

I was going to a restruant the other day, and on a vegetarian section of a menu i actually saw the words, "guiltless grill". Not becuase the menu items were low in calories (as chicken and other healthy dishes were also discriminated against) but becuase it was completely lacking meat products. So am i supposed to feel guilty if i eat meat? FORGET THAT!What angers me the most about the phrase is the sheer narrow mindedness of the vegetarians that think it! They think thy are saving the world by eating a diet of Tofu and berries? Well here's something that many vegetarians don't know (or care to acknolwedge) every year MILLIONS of animals die in wheat and soy combine arvesting each year. Sure go on about how us meat eaters are going to hell for eating a steak but convienately ignore the fact that each year millions of rabbits, rats, skunks, possums, moles, mice, snakes and gophers are killed as a direct result of your eating habits. Whats that? I dont hear any ranting from those losers now. Could it be there moralist veiws have been RUINED?Thats right, the gloves come off. The vegetarian response to this embarassing fact"well at least we're not killing intentionally." So let me get this straight: not only are animals ruthlessly being murdered as a direct result of your diet, but you're not even using the meat of the animals YOU kill? At least we're eating the animals we kill.(and althought we also conribute to the sluaghter of animals during grain harvesting we aren't the ones with a moral qualm about it.), not just leaving them to rot in a feild to rot somewhere. That makes you as morally repugnant as a meat eater anyday. Not only that but you are killing free roaming animals not animals raised for feed. Their bodies get mangled in the combines machinery, bones crushed and you have the audacity to point a finger at the beef industry for humanely punching a spik through a cows neck? If you think your tofu burgers come at no cost to the animals or the enviornment, guess again.
To even suggest that somehow your meal is "guiltless" is absurd. The defense "well at least we're not killing intentionally" is BS anyway. How is it not intentional if you KNOW that millions die evey year in the harvests? You expect me to believe you somehow unintentionally pay money to buy products that support farmers that use combines to harvest there feilds? Even if it is unintentional does that let you off the hook? I suppose we should let Drunk drivers off the hook to since the kill unintentionally as well. There's no way out of this one.The only option left is for you to buy your own land, plant and pick your own crops. Impractical? Yeah so is your stupid diet.
Even if combines arent used to harvest your food,do youthink buying fruits and vedgtables is any better? How d you think they get rid of bugs that eat crops in large feilds? Put up a sign and politely ask them to go away? Actually i wouldnt put that suggestion psat those idiots. One of the methods they use to get rid of pests, is to introduce a large amount of predator for that particualr pest into the enviornment. Which wreaks all sorts of havoc on the natural balance of predator vs. prey balance cuasing whoknows what type of damage to the enviornment. Oops did i just expose you moral elitests for being fruads? damndest thing.
A number of people have pointed out that the amount of grain grown to feed animals for sluaghter every year is greater than the amount of grain grown for humans. So i guess the amount of grain humans consume suddenly becomes neglidgable and we can convienately ignore the fact that animals are ruthlessly murdered as a result of your diet right? Not to mention the majority of grain grown for animal consumption is tough as rocks, coarse, and so low grade its only fit for animal consumption. Spare me the "you could feed 500 people with the grain to feed one cow" its not the same grain. Then there are people that jump on the bandwagon with "you could plant a billion potatoes on the land used for cows" good point, except for the fact that not every plotof land is equally fertle; you think farmershave always hae a choice for what they do with their land? Also vegetarians dont know (or care to acknowledge) that in many parts of the UNited States they have control hunts in which hunting permits are passed out wheneve there is a pest problem. This hapens several times a year! Then some try to throw outclaims that they are trying to limit the suffering. How about limit my suffering and shut up about your stupid diet for a change. No one cares. Even if the number of animals that die in combines each year isnt in the millions even if its just one baby rabbit, are you putting a value on life? Enjoy your tofu murderers.

i have never heard of such nonsense. there is no such thing as superiority, even of race, or sexes. we are created equal, just with different roles and purposes in life. you know why i say equal? no matter what we go through in this life, all our possessions, or how long we have been on earth, don't matter when we die because we will all return to dust.
so how come there's superiority based on our diets? gee...first time i heard of it.
