Drinking Water can help reduce hypertension |
|
I'm a student nurse. And I have always been telling my mom to be careful with her blood pressure and to always remember to take her medications to avoid hypertension. She always complains that the medicine bills are driving her crazy.
So one time, she was given a copy of how to reduce hypertension the natural way: Believe it or not the solution is: DRINK 4 Glasses of WATER the first thing you get up in the morning everyday for 3 months.
My mom was skeptical at first but she decided to try it. After the first month of her doing the 'Water Therapy', I noticed that she lost weight and seemed happier (despite the stress that she experiences at work), calm, and her blood pressure was always within normal range!! She normally gets 170/130 and now she can have a BP of 110/80 or 120/70~
And she told me that since she started the 'Water Therapy', even the nurse in her company commented the tremendous improvement on her status and at times she even skips her medications!!
I truly belive, as a student nurse that Water therapy can help reduce hypertension.
Though I"m not saying it can be a substitute to health professionals' advise nor is it okay to skip medication. But given these testimonies of my mother, this can be a real help to those with HYPERTENSION!!

1. Sacrificialclam (4467) | 3 years ago | I have hypertension. All the water in the world won't lower my BP.
I use hawthorne berry and garlic pills to help lower it as well as a commercial medicine.

| angel_platinum (43) | 3 years ago | Hi Sacrificialclam. Thanks for your comment and your opinion on this matter. I am also open to your suggestions. Though I am not saying water is a cure, it can be of help though. I as a student nurse include in my health teachings to my clients with hypertension this "Water Therapy". Well I guess in a sense it's the only thing I feel safe to use. Coz even though some alternative medicines may say things like "Natural" and "Safe" one can't be too sure how an individual's body will react. But water is SAFE and there are no negative side effects and there's no harm in trying this 'Water Therapy'. But as I said, there's no substitute from a health care professional's advise.

clemorswhomp (460) | 3 years ago | Four glasses of water in the morning will reduce blood pressure. And with that statement I will add that vitamin C and lysine will reduce your cholesterol levels and clean your arteries. Last but not least, regular coffee enema's will stop colon cancer and make your hair grow back.

Thanks for the additional info. I will advise that also to my mom who also has hypertension.

Hey there lee.
I'm Sarah, and I'm a student nurse from the Philippines. I don't mind you asking me questions at all. It is after all my duty to help people with health problems. Anyway, first of all i'm really sorry to hear about your loss of loved ones. I'll be praying for them.
As for your doctor stopping diazepam, i have no say on what is his real reason for doing so. But he probably felt that his decision will outweigh any other health problems. Please be careful with taking meds without doctor's advise.
And if you want to lower your bp and sress the natural way, here are some things that I can advise:
1. Avoid salty and spicy foods 2. Drink lots of water especially when you wake up in the morning. 3. Incorporate cardio exercises (if not contra-indicated) and some body building. 4.Eat lots of fruits and vegetables 5. Have Faith in God
*okay i admit that the fifth one is kinda tricky since i am not sure about your beliefs. but in relation to helath, it is proven that people who believe in God, or have a set of moral standards and optimism do have lowered bp than most patients. I myself observed that from my hundreds of patients.
Anyway, hope I helped you somehow and have a great day!! Feel free to send me a message and tell me how you're doing!

| 4. olrayt (32) | 2 years ago | I've also tried that, and it works (somewhat). Still, water therapy isn't a substitute for good diet, exercise, a happy disposition, and a great doctor.

| |
|
|
| angel_platinum (43) | 2 years ago | Hi olrayt!
I totally agree with you. That's why I have emphasized with what I have written that this may somehow help. But then it is also not a "cure" and a doctor's advise is still needed. But I'm glad to hear your testimony that it somehow helps you. Thanks for that!!

| angel_platinum (43) | 2 years ago | Hi!
I'm glad that my posting this message was somehow able to help. But please do remember that the best advice given are still the onese given by a healthcare professional. And also, I would just like to add that this water therapy has also added positive effects such as normal stools, increased energy, clearer skin, and less tension headaches. I really hope it does well for you.
Have a great day.

6. ptrikha1 (4115) | 2 years ago | Great to hear that it works for your Mother. Would 2 glasses of water suffice for some people?
| |
| |
|
|
| angel_platinum (43) | 2 years ago | Hi there!!
Well, I guess it will suffice for people to take only 2 glasses a day. I tried it for a few days and I really feel bloated just by drinking 4 glasses! So I tried to modify it by drinking only up to 2 glasses in the morning before breakfast and also, I tried to drink the 4 glasses before the meals at different intervals. Let's say, I drink 2, then wait for about an hour before I drink the remaining 2. Hope this can hel you!
Good luck and please do tell me about your progress.

7. giePortlandOR_08 (3894) | 2 years ago | My dad was using water theraphy before he died.He was hypertensive but i believe it can relieve certain illnesses provided you will not do anything to a point that makes your pressure rise.My dad was workaholic, he never took any medicines except water. He was from an official trip he supposedly resting at home but he went directly to his office and worked.I think he was on stress and very exhausted at that night he had his first and last attack, was on coma for 4 days and died.Perhaps your mom should avoid stress also and at the same time have her water theraphy.

|
| angel_platinum (43) | 2 years ago | Hi giePortland!
First of all, I am sorry to hear that about your father's death. I posted this topic since I wanted to help people reading this information control their hypertension. I do believe that Water Therapy does work. i don't know much about your dad's history but according to what you say, he doesn't take medications for his problem. As stated, the water therapy is intended to help and not as a substitute for professional medical advice.
But I do see the point of what you try to say and yes, I agree that my mom needs to lay off stress that's why I always advise her to have a day at the Spa or a massage.
Thanks for commenting.
