drvid be dropped or vengsarkar be sacked?

I agree wth u.Vengsarkar is playing dirty politics by favourin the west zone cricketers n his decision of keepin Dravid out of the squad was pathetic.Well Dravis has replied to this behaviour of Vengsarkar by scorin magnificent 200 runs knock at the ranji match.Hope he returns soon...As for Indian team though they play beautifully Presence of Wall is a must....as i think.

Excessive sympathy for Dravid is not something new in India. A defensive Dravid with a strike rate of 70 per 100 balls and a average of about 40 is enternal team man. An attacking Sachin with a strike rate of around 90 and an avrage of 44 is a selfish player.

No question of showing rift with Dravid. When Sachin was not in form, we did not have these many alternatives available. Moreover ask any person who knows cricket to compare Sachin and Dravid....
As far as Vengsarkar is concerned, he is doing his duty. It is not the chairman of the selection commetee who takes decision. Other members of and the Captain also have their vote.
I do not say that Dravid deserved to be dropped. But the situation from which Indian team was passing demanded some unpleasent action. Dravid will make come back for the sure. His class is not going to go anywhere, form is not permanent thing,
He could not prove himself even during the Ranji match. So he is not in form.
We should not just jump into any conclusion based on few facts, because the selection of Indian cricket team is also not as simple task as we think.

i think some politics is going inside the BCCI and the selection committee. the way rahul dravid exited from captaincy is really shocking. and in the net series after he resigned from captaincy, he is being dropped. there is something fishy about these circumstances. in the past 1 year or so, he has increased both his strike rate and his avg. so only by a failure in 1 series, he shouldn't have been dropped.

How can u even put up the question tht dravid should be dropped..

He has won so much matches for country even there is no hope..
and when is not in form for a short period.. u r saying he should be period...

whatever it is there is some sort of bad politics which is being happening these days in indian cricket or should i say bcci cricket. The most funny thing is that dropping dravid and bringing back sehwag who has forgot how to play cricket these days.
