Writers strike... i'm worried, what are your thoughts on this?

I think that one of the main things the writers want is money from the internet and sales of shows. I dont have a problem with that. I have head writers talk about the residuals they get. It is very small. The bigger problem because of the strike will be the workers like hair, makeup,electricians, lighting, audio, grips, gaffers, cafeteria workers. All of these people will soon be out of work. Then of course there is us, the tv audience. Not only will the current season soon come to an end probably before the end of the year including the soap operas, but we will be stuck with dumb game and reality shows in among the reruns. Stand by for a long season with nothing to watch.
