I just noticed a few minutes ago that the number of posts is only saying 601 but I've made more in the last day or so, so why is it stuck? Has this happened to anyone else?

If you are answering posts within posts, meaning someones answer to a given thread, underneath their post, your numbers won't go; but if you respond to discussion serving your own small box of discussion, it will. For example, I am posting here as a response for the first time, my number of posts made since I started here on myLot should read 546 since right now it is 545 . . . lets see

ah well I can't count today but now it is 547. By me posting to myself, or posting to someone underneath theirs should NOT make my number of posts be 548 . . . lets see!

I get that and I've also started posts and responded to topics separate from posting in an existing post.

This happened to me quite often, on the 23rd and 24th of October my posting number had been deleted as many as ten points. I was told that it was because I had responded to the discussions which were believed to have violated the mylot rules. Yesterday I did really experience this. It happened that when I login mylot I found that my posting number had dropped by one point again. After going through the list of the discussions I had responded I then found that one of them had been deleted because I had responded to a discussion of somebody who was believed to have violated the rules.

This is the first time for me. That sucks it's one thing to respond to something obvious but then if someone comes behind you and posts a violation you get dinged anyway.

Nope, It didn't happen to me but some people on mylot already faced this issue. It may be due to post delating as said above, but it may be that you posted comments for other responses instead of responding to thediscussion itself...

One thing that can happened is that you posted in some discussions that had been deleted.I happened to me some of my posts wore deleted so that can be one reason.
