I've seen Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's episode "Trials and Tribble-ations", and it was rated very highly like one of the favorite episodes among Trekkies like me. But somehow, I felt that something was still missing, as though it needed that "classic touch" that would make it even more of a fan favorite. That's when my mind came up with an idea to give it a nostalgic, TOS feeling, even withing DS9. I call it "Retrofilming". Instead of discarding obsolete technology and techniques just because of a newer technology when filming TV and movies, they ought to keep the old technology for use in flashbacks or memories. So for example, instead of discarding those old NBC TV studio cameras they used for TOS as obsolete technology, they could've fixed it, repaired it, and re-used it for this DS9 episode. The shaky filming as the camera's moving, the radio-like sound, now THAT is how to create quality filming gold in the big screen, or in the small screen. It's like recycling, but with the media like TV, movies, radio, etc. Also, in the "Mirror Mirror" episode, they could've used a TOS double, because Kirk handing Sisko his report cut to Sisko's face, and that was another negative point. But nonetheless it's the best Trek episode of all time.
