Deafening fire crackers  | |  It's that time of the year againAre you also troubled by the deafening noises? yes, i am referring to those deafening bombs exploding all around us every diwali?don't get me wrong..i am not against celebrating diwali..however, i would like people to realize the kind of disturbance they cause to so many around them in pursuit of their enjoyment..my mom has splliting headaches for the last 2 days becoz of the non stop crackers bursting all around..why cant we resort to crackers which look more beautiful and make lesser noise?

But, the noisier aspect of the Diwali celebrations hardly affect me because I am living in a quiet suburb. In fact, I have hardly heard more than a couple of fireworks go off this year.

| | | 2. milott (2553) | 3 years ago |  There is a shift from bomb type crackers to fancy type crackers these days, which bursts into the sky creating amazing colours. The people appeared to have listened to the advise of the police that the crackers should only be burst only between 6.00 AM to 10.00 PM. Though I could hear the sound of crackers before 06.00 AM on Diwali day, it was quiet after 10.00 PM with no noise of bursting crackers.
