So I was bored today and goofing around with my interests, and I added my friend to my "people I admire category". Only to find that there was already someone else under this interest! :P
Do you have any mylotters on your "People I Admire" list? Did you even think of doing this? Would you be surprised to find you were on other people's "People I admire" interest list?

That's really flattering, but no, I haven't thought of this COOL idea yet!;) But I'll consider it if ever, since I have two friends which I look up to here!;)
I think trans will be surprised after learning about this as well, I believe that both of your are considered as the best and most admired opinion-minded posters here!;)

*giggles* I'm hoping Mr. Bear will come reply to me, but we'll see if he does.
Awww. I feel so special! People do sometimes tell me they look up to me here, but I guess it's hard to realize what kind of impact you have on people. I do my best though.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any friend who started a post in a good way. But I believe I have one, though it was because the person was racing on me and competing against my number of posts!LoL
I always find you posts well-put, without down-rating anyone else but simply providing your wise opinions!;)

Haha, I could see the reason for racing your number of posts. You've been here longer than I have, I think. Actually, I went to your profile page just now, and realized that we weren't friends, and was a little surprised. I see you around a lot, and you're always so nice! Oh, and that cute little Tonberry makes me smile. ;P
Thanks for all your kind words! I feel like people should always be able to be polite even if they disagree, and I try to be so. I actually find myself surprised when people don't respond in kind, actually.

I have never thought about doing this. I seem to admire most of the people that I get close to know, all for a different reason.
I would be highly flattered if I was on someones list of people they admire. Actually now that I have said that, I have a friend who 2 of her kids said they admired me as they were growing up. I was at her house day in and day out for years...lol. She told me not long ago that her oldest and her youngest thought I made a great impression on them, and they will never forget me for it. I was so close to tears!!! Sure does make you feel great dont it?

It's under interests, and I think it's mostly meant for putting celebrities on or whatever, the "people I admire" category.

You're right, though, all people are important in some way!

Under interests, there's a category of interests called "People I admire" and you add to it just like you do to any other interest. So you can type in anyone you want. A lot of people have celebrities, or family members, or whatever, but today I thought of adding a mylot friend because I admired him. That's what I'm talking about. ;P

I already have some up. Just start a new discussion and check out the bottom of the list. Or just check the people I admire list again. I'd say there are some surprises and playing in the interest section. Hey, I did it too with lowstar rating.

I never thought of doing this. And I would be very surprised to find myself as someone that other people admire. Not that I am a loser, just ordinary (there is a difference). Ahh, the things we do and learn while we are bored. LOL.
