Learning French  

I think that with internet you got many ways to fight off the boring process of learning a new language
Immersion is always the easiest and fastest way
Now with internet you can try to go to French chatrooms and converse with French people ... also there are some interactive lessons
depending on your level, go to French sites, watch French movies, listen to Frecn songs, radio and so on.. as much as you can
Maybe you can also try to find a "French Club" for foreigners like you who are learnig French it can make it more playful

And finally Bon Courage!

There are plenty of great sites on the internet for this..just type in a keyword "How to learn French language for free" and you may just see what you want to see when you use the Google Search Engine I had 5 years of French in High School and today only know qui and s'il vous plait and that is it I am not a languages student and find other subjects so much easier.I envy those who can speak 5-6 languages and maybe more Thanks for Sharing Good Luck

I found the best and fastest way to learn French. I went to Quebec found myself a sweet French-Canadian girl and married her. I still butcher the language but I did pass a literacy test in French and am able to communicate pretty well as long as the person I'm speaking with is a little patient.
