Does Discount Sale attract you? Do you visit the sale and buy more?

I am a habitual visitor of Discount Sale and an impulse buyer too. I feel it is cheap and buy necessary and unnecessary stuff and later repent for that. It will be lying waste in the house. How about you? Do you go for Discount sales? Do you just do window shopping or buy stuff? Do you buy only the requirement or more? Can you share your experience please?

My better half remains more interested in discount sale than I am. I believe where there is sale, there is definitely some rider. Shopkeepers inflate the price of the product before hand and then reduce the price in the name of sale. I cannot believe that any shop owner would sell his product below the cost price. Tag of 'Sale' is there only to attract and lure the custmoers into the showroom/shops and I find human tendency is such, they get attracted so the word 'sale', wherever they see it.

You are correct. But sometimes, in order to sell the products fast, they will reduce their profit margin and sell it. My neighbour had to vacate the shop. So he put 40% discount and sold the stuff. There was a big rush as deepavali was on cards and much of his stuff sold off. This way he saw profit in a short time and sold also the stuff. Now he shifted to a new place and has all new stuff.

I don't like do window shopping. If i go to the city, there must be a reason to buy something necessary that i or we need. Usualy for meat, i only buy when there is sale/discount. Because if not sale, it is very expensive in here.
We only buy if we really need that, we don't much money yet :) so...we only buy what we need ^_^;;

Actually that is only correct julianarw. Why to waste money? But controlling temptation is very difficult.

I am definately attracted to sales and discounts. I don't know if Discount Sale is an actual store you are referring to or just discounts in general? I try to only buy things that I need or don't need but will use. Like we like scented candles, we don't need them but they still get used. I generally don't buy things that will just lay around and clutter up my house though.

I am addicted to mallwide sale madness here in my country. Shopping for clothes especially formal wears can be very expensive so i make use of the discount sale. I think that there's always a catch for store owners behind their giving of discount but since i always window shop i know prices are at least 30% cheaper. For me that's a lot of savings already. No, I don't buy on impulse. I only buy what is really needed to be bought.

Yes. I also noticed. Prices are certainly cheaper a bit. But how the stuff is, is our own luck.
