Have any of you switched your Inspiron 6000 to a linux OS?

I have made the switch from Windows to Linux (Ubuntu) before Dell deciede to make computers come pre-installed with Ubuntu on them. I really like it. It runs a lot smoother than it did under Windows you should really think about maybe switching because Ubuntu has all the drivers for the laptop. The Only Problem is that the screen will some times give gnome some problems and will cause it to flip on load up put you don't have to restart it just doesn't always show you th loading screen. You also get longer battery life cause the OS isn't sucking your pc dry.
