Taking the time to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday

I absolutely love Christmas but I love Thankgiving too. I feel like most people are overlooking the Thanksgiving holiday because places like Wal-mart and the malls aren't letting you take the time to enjoy Thanksgiving. These stores are too focused on the Christmas season. Last year at Halloween my husband and I went to go see a movie at the mall and I couldn't believe how the mall was already fully decorated for Christmas. I think that is just way too soon. Our family has a tradition of decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. I think that is plenty of time to enjoy the holiday season without over doing it. Do you feel like you aren't given the chance to enjoy Thanksgiving and the stores are trying to hurry the Christmas season?
