OMG
I dont beleive these people telling these warriors that they arent hurt by the war !.
I feel for these families very much as they have to deal with all the recamarow and red tape to fight for the rights that they should be granted right off . They need to change their policy nad do it fast so all our poeple that come back can be fised and receive the attention theyneed and payment for what damage that has been done to them.
Just like my son has knee inguries and elso and al kinds of things wrong with him and for years they tell him that cant find the cause and the first part of the year he had been told he would have to have a knee operation they put it off. then told him other things about other injuries he has received while it the service for his countriy. altho he hasnt been blown up . HE still has injuries cause by training and work with the servers.H e has been in over 25 years.
also the first part of the year he had bben told by the Doctors here that his knee was a big problem for the kind of work he does and they put him in a brace and gave him pain pills. and tehn turned around after denieing him surgery and sent him to Iraq in June. He is still there and he had to get pain meds here to take with him for 9 months worth.
I have received a couple of emails from him in all this time and he never complains about any thing just like the rest of them are not complainng . Hold a glass up high and salute these fine warriors of ours. !

Hi Lakota, I just don't understand how they can say that yours sons injuries are not service related...I am so sorry your son is in pain and he is so brave to keep going and doing what has to be done...He is a hero in my book for sure...My hubby had leukemia in 1989, has had a bone marrow transplant and is on disability..He was out of the service at the time he got the leukemia so it isn't according to them service related...He served during the Agent Orange time and it seems all but the leukemia he had was caused by Agent Orange..They will not say that his was caused do to that...I am appalled at the number of our vets that are homeless as well. It just doesn't make sense... I sure hope your son gets better and gets home soon...They shouldn't be there in the first place...Hugs to you and your son....
