What should we do now?Global warming is getting faster and faster.

Yes i think gloabl warming is becoming one of the world's gretaest worries and I think something has to be done very fast otherwise this world will become a hell to stay.

The major role to be played in the reduction of global warming is the ordinary people.Governments and various organisations can only suggest ways to reduce it.Its upto us to follow these procedures.We are not doing it for some one else,Its for saving our own planet.We all contribute to global warming, so following some simple things as given below can go a long way in reducing this effect.

1.switch off lights when not in use.
2.dont keep elecronic items in standby mode as they take up 85% power even when not in use.
3.use public transport system often
4.use boats and trains as planes generate more co2.
5.switch off the computer monitor when not in use for some time.

These are just a few.Its upto you to follow it and be part of the people who save the planet or be the reason of its destruction.THE CHOICE IS YOURS FRIENDS.

i am really getting worried about the life in this world. i feel that life is getting harder everyday. we hear so many news about global warming and its effects and the worse of it is that we are actually experiencing it now those bad effect of global warming. i really believe that this is really a serous problem to our world. i iwll hopefully wish that this thing will change. ii wish that the expert will be able to provide some lasting solutinos to the dilemna that we are in. with all the terrorism in the world, we have a global warming that is adding to the problems to the world and to our life. i really like to pray for the situation that we are now. and that we are able to pray for some solutions from all of our problems. hopefully that we are able to stop this global warming. i want to know if there are things that we can do so that we ar e able to stop this global warming. i believe this global warming are really serious. hopefully that every people will contribute in saving the environment.

i did saw in the news about global warming, i think i saw al gore is involved in discussion about the global warming. i agree that we need to help in preventing global warming. be more active rather than passive. we can help by doing car pool with friends rather driving another car. dispose waste properly, recycle if needed. we need to preserve the earth for the next generation of people.

Good and apt discussion friend and it is the need of the day. We must contribute to this by conserving energy, develop alternate source for fuel,clear toxic wastes, Growing more trees and reduce pollution levels.

CONSERVATION AND EFFICIENCY

The chief danger at present, as regards global warming, is considered to be the build up in the atmosphere of carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels and the destruction of the tropical forests.

Fossil fuels are a non-renewable resource, yet much of them are wasted in inefficient practices and apparatus. Moreover, they are often used in the manufacture of unnecessary products that also uses up other precious resources. In a world of rapidly increasing populations, where millions go short of bare necessities, this is completely unjustifiable.

It must also be remembered that fossil fuel burning releases pollutants that damage life.

Necessary reforms may well involve loss of profits in the short term by industrial concerns, but in the long term bring even monetary benefits, except to the coal industry and the oil magnates for whose products there will be slower demand.

The effects of checking waste and pollution in the industrially developed world could be nullified by industrial development in the Third World. We must stop encouraging and funding unnecessary industrial development. Non-renewable resources must be used only to meet genuine need, not to manufacture luxuries and trivialities, and not in unnecessary travel. We must give a lead in simplifying lifestyles, and demonstrate that such simplification does not mean deprivation but more creative and fulfilling living."

Protect our globe and make it green.

I have a completely different and unpopular take on this. Personally I don't think the issue of Global Warming is nearly as bad as we think it is. The earth goes through natural changes. It has had Ice Ages and times where it was very warm. How were those things accounted for? I do believe we need to try to fight pollution and find alternative fuels or whatever else we can do to make the quality of life better for us and more healthy. In the long run, though, the earth wasn't put here just for people. Eventually it is natural for the earth to turn as it has many times, and that change may not be the best thing for human life. Again, we aren't the only living beings that this earth supports, though.

yes,we need harmonization .When the human cooperate together,i think the power must conquer the serious problem.But it's pity that the war is also exist.Why can't we cooperate?Why doesn't the human would wake up until the problem happen and serious exist.
Until then,i doult that the scientists isn't a selfish person.0
