|  Has anyone ever played this game? If so, on which console? Do they have this game on the computer too? Did you like this game?
I'm asking because I might want to save up for it. I would buy the Gamecube version because that is what I'm getting for Christmas. Is there any changes besides the pets, compared to The Sims 2 for Gamecube? What I mean is, is there any new furniture, styles or house building things? Or is this just The Sims 2 with some pets added into the game?

| |  Sims 2 pets is an awsome addon, I highly recommend you buying it. Although nothing much of the game really changes having pets who look and act realistically is just plain fun. But hey don't just take my word for it, go to sites like gamespot and check out the reviews.

| |  It's a expansion pack for PC version The Sims2.
I have it and it's quite nice to play as your sims family can adopt a dog or cat..
and those animals can even give born to the next generation!
You can also create your own pets, modify their look such as eyes color, fur color and so on..
the new furniture..I think it will be all the pets' stuff like dog's house, cats' bed, hamster cage, bird cage, some pets' toys and so on.
PC version of The Sims2 really give out a lot of fun and it's so close to reality!
That's why I so addicted to this game!

| |  Ey Lancingboy! yup i love this game... i have the sims2 pets on pc and i think the gamecube version is practically the same as the pc version... aside from acquiring pets such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fishes and birds, it also has all the furniture your pets need.... another thing is they have new futuristic/space-ish furnitures included with the expansion pack... so it's really worth it if you'll save up for it... also try teen stuff and bon voyage. these 2 are the latest additions / expansion packs from the sims 2... merry xmas!

| | I play on the ps2 and never on game cube. I would not really know this. However the game is awesome and so real like. I love this one very much out of all my sims. You can do as I did I watched a few ebay listings. I have all my sim games new. I have never paid over 10.00$ for any of them. I am also up late nights so this helps. Good playing.. | | | | | | |

| |  I have it. I love this game I have it on my laptop. One of my characters has a talking parrot in her dom room in college. I think its cool everyone goes in their during the day and talks and plays with the bird. My character is the only one that feeds it. I can't figure out how to get 2 cats to mate. I bought a male and a female cat and they won't mate. they just depend on the family to love, play and take care of them. Do you know anything about this?

| | Kittens and puppies, like babies, can not be created in the Create-A-Family screen. They must be created in game through breeding. After they are breed, kittens and puppies can be sold or given to other Sim families.
You need three things in order for your pets to breed. A male and a female cat or dog and a doghouse. Sims can direct a a pair to breed by telling one of them to try to make a puppy/kitten with the other. If their relationship score is high enough (more than 25 points daily), they will go to the doghouse and woohoo in typical Sim fashion. If the woohoo is successful, a litter will follow a couple of days later. Litters can have up to 4 babies, depending on how many pets are already in the house (6 is the max). enjoy* XOXOX
