Do you have a calendar on the wall at home?

I haven't had a calendar at home on my wall since I don't know when. My other half's aunt used to send an Aussie calendar every year and we would put it up because of the beautiful pictures of his homeland. Since she passed on we haven't bothered with a calendar on the wall. We have one on our computer and cell phones and that does us just fine. At work I have a calendar on my cubicle and use it a lot but at home, no. Each year the insurance place gives them out as does the bank and our office even. It just seems to me that with computers and cells the calendar on the wall is dying a slow and painful death. Is it just me or are calendars becoming obsolete?

I always have a calendar near my computer desk. Last year the theme was whales. This year it is lightouses. I've already bought one for next year and it's lighthouses again. I love ocean themes. And the boxes have to be large enough to be able to write stuff in them.

I have a McDonalds's activities calendar up on the kitchen wall, which I have never really used. If I need to see a date, i would just use my mobile phone and it easy to find the dates with the built in calendar.

I still have one by the computer. I still like it to write down notes and things the kids need to do. If I get a call I can just write down the info on it. Also the kids can look at it to see what they are doing that day.
