11 year old girl raped by an 8 and 9 year old boy? |
|
My goodness what in the world is happening to our children these days. I remember times when you say the word F or s (four letter words) you get a slap or send to your room. But now a days you hear about gun violence, raped, murder, all these things are not suppose to be what the kids do. These are adult defenses. What would you like to have happen to these two boys? Judge/trial as an adult because they committed adult crimes? Or just a slap on their back and send them home so they can make other crimes? Should we punish their parents because they are minors? If we can punish them do we punish their folks? What can and should we do?

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | Yeah, but the boys are younger than the victim. I don't believe what is going on in this world now. Where are their parents and what kind of morals did they teach them. Where and how did they get to a point where it's so huge that they can't turn back anymore.

2. spoiled311 (2555) | 9 months ago | oh my... i was thinking a similar idea when i was riding the passenger transport this morning. i saw a very young couple (i mean boyfriend-girlfriend) carrying books and kissing in public. in the philippines, that is not so common. and in a small town like ours, that was pretty stupefying. then i got to thinking, when i have my own kids someday, what kind of world would they be living in and how do i cope with such? how do i handle such situations and explain to my children basic morality as taught in the bible? i just pray for God's grace and mercy to spare my children and to give my husband and I the wisdom needed to rear our children in the fear of the Lord. but i think that what parents can do is really pray for their children.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | But the sad thing is that we in the US is taking God out of majority of things and places now. No more in school and they are thinking about removing Him from the currency. They want IN GOD WE TRUST off the bills. Morality seems to be out the door these days and most people younger kids want to do what feels good rather than what they should do. Sad world we live in now, but we can still change it for the better by first starting to teach our own kids and people we know that morality is still valued. The way we live still should be to do what is right and not to do what feels good. To act not react, think before we react. Thanks for the comment.

3. linben (115) | 9 months ago | What is wrong with the children nowadays? I don't know. It seems like they don't know right from wrong, don't show respect to others, smoking, violence and other horrible things. A couple of days ago, i read a newspaper reporting a bunch of kids beating a couple cos they didn't buy one kid's flower( the kids are selling flowers to lovers). I can't imagin how could this ever happen.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | Yeah I read that too. Crazy world we live in. I wonder what is wrong with these kids. How is their family background. What I mean is, where is the father and mother? Who is teaching them? What kind of moral background do they have? Who is giving them guidance and setting their limits? I just wish when people have kids they realize it is not just raising them but it also means teaching them what is right and wrong to do. If this is today youth of tomorrow then tomorrow we are doomed. Thank you for your comment.

linben (115) | 9 months ago | I agree with you totally. The parents of these kids should be blamed for this. They bring kids to the world but don't tell them the right way to deal with other people in this world, how to behave properly and politely, which end up in those horrible things.

5. gloria777 (1397) | 9 months ago | Unbelievable. I don't know what will be the end of all. I think our brain is developing in high proportion than body. Thats why such crimes are committed by so-called under age culprits. They should be sent to some re-habilitation centre for counselling.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | That and plus educating their parents on how to teach their child. Because the parents has to let their child know what the limits are. If that doesn't work give them tough love. Sent them to jail. They need to learn or else what kind of a world are we going to have for our next generation.

6. newzealtralian (1789) | 9 months ago | Boys of that age are showing behaviours they have been taught by those close to them. They, too, my be victims of sexual abuse. Without knowing all the facts, it is hard to place judgement on them. But, if they were my boys, the would want to look out! I would be reteaching them what is acceptable and what is not and making them see that what they had done was wrong.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | Yup, I agree that is why I am asking where is their folks. What kind of limits and morals are they setting for these young boys (babies). I would let them see what the consequences are and they would have to pay for what they did to the poor victim. Have them shamed. Record them telling the other kids what they did and then put them in jail and record them there to scare off anyone else who wants to copy them. They will see that it is not fun nor is it cool. How cool would it look for them to be in the retirement home cleaning old people poop and for them to go to shelters and clean up animal poop as well. What I mean is let them do things that will teach them that bad action will result in terrible punishments.

newzealtralian (1789) | 9 months ago | It just proves that a lot of parents are neglecting their responsibilites of teaching their kids right from wrong. In truth, they have failed their kids already. I won't go into statistics (something I'm very good at!), but they most certainly have been sexually abused themselves and believe that it is acceptable behaviour. My heart goes out to them too, as they are so young to be that lost.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | Go back to their home. I would blame their folks and society. What are we showing these kids in the media and such. Where are their folks who are their friends. The parents have to set limits and punish them for bad behaviors. They are very young (babies)they must of learn this from someone. Or if they saw it on the media then where are the folks? Why didn't they put limits on these boys? These are adult crimes, they should hold the punishment adults hold. Put them in jail I say.

| 9. tiffhannah (37) | 9 months ago | I blame everything on the parents. Where were they when this was happening? The parent should be sentenced to time in jail as well as children these days

|
cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | Yeah, I agree on punishing the parents too. But what punishment we set for the kids are not the same I would put on the parents. I would say their punishments should be tailor made for them by the judge and the victim.

cartoon4umaniacs (624) | 9 months ago | I don't like the subject myself, but this is reality. Look around you and you will find that you can not shut these bad things out the door. If you have kids you know what I mean. You can do all you can to protect them but you can not watch them 24/7, so even if your kid is good they can be a victim. These bad kids are like plague they come in packs. If we don't do something to teach them they will have more like them coming out. No matter how hard you try to shut these bad kids from your door there are tens and more on the steps. That is why we need to educate and teach good morals to kids and adults. So our future would not be doomed by these so call kids. What if your daughter was the victim would you still think that these bad kids should be set free to do it to your other daughter or niece of whom ever you love? Think about it maybe in a few years they will be doing more and worst. First they kill a cat then next will be a tiger then it will-just might be you. Sorry to be so raw about this, but the subject is not like by anyone but it's here and we need to deal with it as a society. What else is there to do?
