There's really no sure fire way to find an honest site. You just have to do as much research as you can. One method is to get the name of the program you're interested in and do a google search with the word scam behind it. Example: "mylot scam"

You're probably come up with alot of blog entries that you have to take with a grain of salt. Some folks are just bitter and call everything a scam.
