Why do You Want SOAD to get back and Play

I was very dissapointed when I learned that SOAD was going to take a break and work on side projects. I was lucky to see them live a couple of years back and they do rock. I can't pinpoint a favorite song becasue I listen to all of their albums back to back when I put their cds in. Id probally have to go with toxcity as my favorite album. My least favorite album is their self titled first cd. I still listen to it but prefer one of their other albums over it. Has anyone listened to any of the side projects? I know Serj just put out a cd and scar on broadway should be dropping soon, I have yet to give either a listen but will sometime soon.

I miss S.O.A.D....but now every personal build a new band again, achozen, serj with elect the dead, and more....

I do want them to get back together soon, but I will wait however long their hiatus drags out for. I would rather wait ten years for a new album than have them all break up the band because of frustration.

Serj's "Elect The Dead" was pretty cool. Some of it was pretty SOAD-y, but a few tracks were just priceless, like "Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition" and "Beethoven's C*nt". I hope to hear Scars on Broadway soon, too.
