Got an adult female poodle  | |  I just got an adult female poodle. She is very timid and shy. She has started following me around finally. She is very sweet and good natured. She is eating good and her vet check up is this coming week. She is light apricot, toy poodle. She was given to this guy and he did the best he could but could no longer even do that and got her another home. He was in tears but wanted her taken care of. I told him he could call to check on her or come see her. I explained he would need to wait awhile so she would have time to adjust to living with me. I wasn't even planning on getting another dog but didn't have the heart to turn this guy down. He wanted her to live with me because he knew I would take care of her.

...It has been a few months since we lost our dog. I'm looking forward to getting another dog as soon as I get a job and have money in the bank. I have always felt more secure having a dog. The first one I had was better than a door bell. The one we just lost would invite a theif in if they ahd a frizbee!

She follows me more than the others do and I have to be careful not to turn back around and step on her. She is adjusting slowly but seems to like it her. | |
