| Is it Time for the 49ers to Give Up on Alex Smith?  | | | |  I'm a 49ers fan and I wanted to believe in Alex Smith, but to say he's been a disappointment is an understatement.
I watch for signs that he'll turn it around, but as of now I haven't seen it. It's clear he misses Norv Turner, my hope is San Diego will fire Turner and he'll come back home and be the 49ers offensive cordinator.

| | I'm not a big 49ers fan, but I do like Alex Smith. He has had his moments and at other times, he hasn't. He is beginning to look like Joey Harrington, who also had high expectations. I'm not sure, though, that you can put all the blame on Alex Smith. He is still a good quarterback, so I think they should stick with him for another year.
