I don't have any grandchildren yet, hopefully soon. My kids are 24 and 32 and the 32 year old and his wife are finally talking about getting pregnant next year. Yeah, finally. So to anwser your question, in my family we only buy gifts for the kids that are under the age of 18. The reason for this is because I come from a family of eight of us kids. We all have kids and a lot of them also have kids now. Plus my husband comes from a family of 7 kids and they all have kids, and a lot of them have kids also. So there would just be too many to buy for. So we have made a age limit. This way we, my hubby and I, have only about 10 kids to buy for. Plus we buy for our own kids, two each. And we buy for each other, but I usually make him something also. We buy soemthing for my mother. She is the only parent we have left between the two of us.
We buy each person only one gift at about $25.00 each. We have to set a limit or it could get a little crazy.

Well for my significant other I normally just have a set price that I spend. So it depends on what he wants and how expensive it is as to how many gifts he gets. My daughter has got several gifts from me (they're all small because my mother got her several gifts and I didn't figure she needed anymore toys) so I'm going to money in a savings account for her plus give her the small gifts that I got for her. I normally get my mother and her husband one thing and my sisters and their husbands one thing. This year I'm going to do things a little differently. I get my nieces and nephew one big gift and then a small gift. My little sister (which is 5) is the same to me as my nieces and nephew, I get her one big gift and a small gift. Then for the rest of my family I normally just put together small gift bags for them. In the guys gift bags I put a couple of lottery tickets and some candy and in the girls gift bags I put something girly (such as lotion, body butter or something like that) and some candy. It sounds like you go all out for Christmas. I'm sure everyone would be satisified with just one gift. You're lucky that you are able to do this. Have a great day.
