I was flipping through channels on the TV to see what was on and all of a sudden I hear, "hey that's my favorite show!" Sitting beside me was my 3 year old grandson...I said, "which one is your favorite? He says, "go back one." So I flip back one channel and he says, "there it is."......It was the weather channel.....
How cool is that?...my grandsons' favorite show is the weather channel...LOL...he was telling me what the weather was going to be like, he saw rain, snow, and clouds....It was so cute..I am sure he is going to be a meteorologist when he grows up......
Have your kids or grandkids told you what they want to be when they grow up?

Awww that's cute!! Yup it does sound like he'll be our next generation meteorologist! That's great when a child learns early what he wants to do in life instead of so many others who don't know until later on in life.
My God kids are'nt sure yet. They have plenty of time to decide what they want to do.

That is really cool. My four year old's favorite show is the Biggest Loser ... she loves to tell us how much weight everyone has lost. She really doesn't watch much until the weigh in. Sometimes she'll surprise us and say, "8, she got an 8, just like Holly." Not only does she let us know how much they lost, but she remembers who else "got that number."
She also used to watch Deal or No Deal and tell us what numbers were left to pick and which could still be picked. She says that she wants to be a mom someday, but I wouldn't be surprised if she also became an accountant or something else using numbers.

That is so cute for him to like the weather channel. My son wants to work with whales in an acquarium like seaworld. I'm sure it will change every year though LOL

Sounds like my youngest son when he was a just about that age.
He loved to watch the weather channel too.
He even learned the difference in clouds and their names.
Which ones were rain clouds and which ones wasn't.
I was so sure he would be a meteorologist when he grew up but he became
a fireman and he loves his job. He did work putting up lightning
protection devices for a few years before he became a fireman.
You can only hope that they get a job doing what they love to do when they
grow up. Both the jobs my youngest son does are dangerous but he is happy.
Let him watch the weather channel and encourage him by reading books about
all the things that cause the weather to happen. He is fascinated with nature
and what goes on around him. It's a great time for him to learn.

He picks out the state he lives in and the state I was born in and that is a good way to recognize that too, while learning the weather...I am not sure what he will become but the possiblities are endless..We are always cloud watching when we are outdoors..
