Is anyone doing some crafts here?

Thats a really good idea Laurika!! Your right its getting cold and wont be spending too much time outdoors so why not! My sister taught me how to crochet. She made me a really nice afghan for Christmas one year, all sorts of colors but I have never made one. I think Im going to try my hand at it! Thanks for the suggestion! Bay xx

Hi i know of a some really good sites to help you learn to knit. first one is called lionbrand (it has video's on how to knit and crochet.) the site also has free patterns for just about everything. Also another site for easy to learn patterns knittingpatterncentral. Just put either of these in your search engine and it will lead you to the sites, they also have links for loads of other sites that will be able to help. I'm learning myself, although my mum knits i try to teach myself, i like to surprise her on what i have managed to do myself. Good luck with it. jules

hi my dear i love to make beads jewelry when i was in the philippines but now its very hard to do that again because of my job but im planning again when i came back home to my country i have a book about making beads jewelry and swarovski the good thing there is i can make it even im in the house when i have some extra time and im plaaning to sell it in the schools also in the net and i love accesories also:-)

I do some crafts, but not a lot. I like to knit. I am making my daughter a scarf right now, for christmas. One of those scarves with the fuzzy wool. I see everyone wearing this kind, in style, so I thought I would make one for my daughter. I'm also knitting sock like slippers, for my family. They are nice and warm for the winter. I am also knitting dish clothes for everyone in the family. They have to be knitted with cotton wool. Another thing I make are, I save all my empty coffee cans and wrap them with shelf liner, the plastic kind, and then fill them with baked goodies. The cans look so nice they are kept after christmas and used for other things like, wool and knitting needles, or sewing items, or piggy banks, that kind of thing.

I'm crafting, but taking pix, no. I always am working on something because when I'm at my mom's on Weds for the "Great Courses" I craft at a nearby table. See, if I were to try & WATCH the program, I'd probably go right to sleep like my mother does! If my hands aren't busy that's pretty much what I do.
