Do you have any tricks that you use to save money? Do you have high interest bank accounts? Do you use money boxes that you can't open until they're full? Do you buy products at certain places? what do you do?

my way for saving money is just taking a part-time job to get extra earning.hehe .... and frankly speaking,i also always make a plan before spending money in order to control the pay for every aspect just like eating, wearing, living, entertainment and so on. for example, the all i earned this month is 1000 $,besides the money for saving 200$,there is still 800$. i wll spend 350 $ on eating ,300 on paying for water, phone, trafic and somethin else for living, and 150$ on entertainment. if the money for some aspect seems not enough, then i will control spending on the aspect and make sure the money wil not run out untill the end of month. yes,in such a way,i save my money.

Many girls who can afford these things do not get their 'daddy's' to pay for them. A lot of girls work really hard to be able to enjoy their luxuries. And why shouldn't they?

Any money i make usually goes straight to my bank account and then I may keep like $20 out for spending on little things. There are certain things I will buy at the dollar store over other stores, like their shampoo tends to be cheaper then other places even though its like pantene or something. I like Walmart as well for other things, I don't shop at K-mart just because I how much it costs them for a certain product and they make it so much more then they should. I only shop there if my friend is working so I can get a discount. For clothes I shop at Kohls since they have awesome sales a lot of the time, plus my bf works there so we get like 10% off everything even clearance stuff! I don't usually have a temptation to spend a bunch of money since I was raised to be frugal. I also tend to shop at Goodwill for clothes, and since I live in a College town there are really nice clothes that people give away. It seems like a lot of girls over here wear something 4 times and don't want it anymore, I guess they can do that when daddy is paying for everything, lol. I'm not complaining though since I am getting nice clothes out of it, let their daddy's buy them whatever they want! I also try not to eat out a lot, and if I do I like going to buffets so I can take food home - eventhough you aren't suppose to. haha I'm so cheap!

I know a lot of girls work hard to get luxuries, I am one of them. What I was saying a lot of girls over here have their parents pay for everything and they don't do anything to earn it. These girls are spoiled and stuck up and don't know the meaning of money, well at least a lot of them don't since it's not their actual money they are spending. People who work hard for their money appreciate the things they buy with it more so than people who are handed money. Sorry if you miss understood my post. :)

The best way for me to save money is my credit union. I have $50 taken directly from my paycheck every 2 weeks. It adds up very quick. I always end up taking it out for things though. Like maternity leave or Christmas. I also have a 401K and I don't know how to take that money out! So I at least have that if I have an emergency.

I used to have a money box which was used for save coins. But I find to save money is not good than earning money. SO I will try to earn some money and have a high interest bank account or just do some good investion.
