Best Program To Learn A Foreign Language

I'm interestedin learning a foreign language, I bought Pimsleur and it seems pretty good.
Does anyone else know of other good language software programs?

I hear Rosetta Stone is good but I think it's expensive. I have a Pimsleur Mandarin CD but I didn't use it often. The best way is just to go to that country and immerse yourself in the language. But if you can't afford that just find someone who speaks the language and practice with them.
