Is there a good way to de-clutter?

I really need to de-clutter my house. I dont have much in the way of storage space in my house & I want to try & neaten it up. I am currently going through the spare room where we have put most of our stuff that we don't use all the time. I am slowly getting rid of things we no longer need by throwing them in the rubbish or advertising unwanted items for sale or give away. My problem is because of the no much storage space in the house, I have ALOT of plastic boxes lining the wall of the spare room. How can I resolve this? I have already gone through the boxes & repacked them with the wanted items.

I dont have a lot of room for storage in my little house, and I have stacking plastic boxes in my spare bedroom, the only thing is that they are all bulging at the seams!and each time I try to sort them out ,it doesnt have much of an effect,I cant really bear to throw any of it away in case I need it..im cluttered, but in all honesty im not going to worry about it!

I have alot of those boxes stacked in the spare room - between that & the spare bed, there's not much room for anything else.
