Were soon to be obsolete. But I still see them for sale. Then, I thought to me self, there is nothing yet to replace them, so they have to continue to upgrade them. My printer has a fax button on the onscreen display, does anyone know how these work?

Sorry I can't help you Rozie, I would like to get me a Fax Machine, I had one and gave it to my Son, I didn't know how to work mind either. I am going to get another one, have you seen the ones with the printer and Fax Machine.

Yes, I have seen those. The printer/scanner/copier/?fax, that I purchased was already discontinued when I bought it. It is a Lexmark 2300. If you know anything about this brand, you know that they are one of the best, but their ink cost an arm and a leg, a foot and a few other body parts.
But, this one has just one ink cartridge, so that makes it cheaper. I purchased this one from Walmart.com for about $40.00 and the shipping and handling was 97 cent. It does everything I NEED it to do, so I am pretty happy with it.

My son is 34, and he claims he don't know how to use it.
