Putting decals/stickers on cars?

Last weekend in the newspaper there was an article about people of a certain race in our area putting decals on their car (like dollar bills) to make them look better. It is something that happened after hurricane Katrina and is now really popular. Do you know anything about this?

I haven't heard about this. How does a sticker make their car look better?
I guess I should read the article eh?

I just read the article, thank you for the link by the way. :) I still wonder the same thing...how does a sticker make their car look better? How odd. It just makes me want to laugh, it seems so silly. Thanks for pointing out the info:)
