I'm a San Francisco 49ers fan, and was almost swept up in the hype at the beginning of the season. We jumped out to 2-0 and sat atop the NFC West, and then... the season continued, but unfortunately the wins did not. I can't even take comfort in knowing we'll get a high draft pick, because we traded that to he Patriots. Well, things could be worse I could be a Dolphins fan.

Sad to get off to a great start like that and then bottom out. I live in the Midwest and root for Chicago Bears and Notre Dame, so I know how it feels root for teams that aren't doing very well this year.

I feel your pain. Before the season the Texans dumped underproducing David Carr and got Matt Schaub. Everyone was excited cause Shaub is a leader. We started the season well. Then the injuries started. Seems like the entire team is walking wounded. The offensive line is full of replacements as is the defense. Running backs are in and our. Ahman Green is out for the season. The only good back we seen to have right now is Rone Dane. Yesterday we lost another player for the season with a broken leg. Then Shaub separated his shoulder and may be gone too. My husband and I looked at each other after that and said "They're done." Wait till next year. But like you say we could have Miami's record.
