Season 2, the final episode |
|
What are your reactions to the final episode of this season? Personally I think it was a crappy way to end it, Nathan's own mother approving of his assassination, giving sylar immortality and possibly illusions. Although otherwise there's really no way for him to compete with Peter. Killing off two of the most popular characters, although if the blood of Claire can give people her power Nathan may not be dead. Although a bit of a stupid decision what Hiro did to Adam was awesome, I thought.

1. himoacs (970) | 11 months ago | i thought the finale sucked. There was no action just stupid drama...they should bloody kill Claire. She is useless. And how the hell did Hiro get Adam in that pipe? i mean come on tell us. And then y didn't parkman chase the assasin???? and can't Peter save his brother??? He has healing powers too....the only good thing about the episode was SYLAR.

| RaMan19 (32) | 11 months ago | Thanks for the response. I didn't like the finale either. You're right, Claire was cool when she was trying to kill herself and using her powers but now with the whole whiny "I just wanna be normal! Oh no! They killed my daddy! Oh no! My daddy's back!" story arc it seems like it's just lame filler to take up the rest of their hour long show. To answer your questions: 1. It was a coffin in a fresh grave that Adam was put in. Since Hiro can stop time it shouldn't have been too hard to dig the grave or put Adam in it, he doesn't have super strength or the ability to create matter though, so how he got a free grave, coffin and headstone without arousing any suspicion is beyond me. 2. Parkman didn't chase the assassin because he couldn't see where they were and he was concerned more for Nathan's well-being than with chasing after the shooter. What really gets me about this is that noone was curious as to what he was about to say after he was shot, none of the reporters stopped to ask, "Why would he call a press conference and get shot if he didn't have something important to say. 3. As for Peter's healing powers, he can heal only himself by power. He never met Linderman so to heal others he would need to inject them with his blood and since any cut he could make on his body would heal before he could get enough blood out he wouldn't be able to drip it into Nathan's mouth or anything. He could cut a major artery but most of that blood would be wasted and he would still need someone there to catch some of it in a cup or something and force Nathan to drink it. As far as my comment earlier on killing off characters goes, we have to remember that every character in this show is subject to some means of resurrection except those whom Sylar has already eaten the brains of.

cooldude_no1 (743) | 11 months ago | Are you sure episode 10 is the final episode of season 2? So after the new year, it will be season 3? Isn't it weird to have only 10 episodes per season? The normal count is 20. Anyway, I think the grave that Hiro put Adam is his father's grave. It's a fresh grave, remember? And wouldn't Adam die due to lack of oxygen? I don't think his healing power can heal that. LOL! And speaking of Peter, he had met Adam and Claire. They both share the same power, i.e. healing and their blood can heal. I am sure Nathan will be back after Peter found out that he can heal or bring people back to life, just as how Claire did to her step-father.

| RaMan19 (32) | 11 months ago | Thanks for the comment. Yes, because of the Hollywood writer's strike episode ten was slated as the last episode of volume two. The new episodes in Jan will be volume three. I wasn't saying Peter couldn't heal Nathan at all, but in the current situation it's impossible since he doesn't have Linderman's power or a syringe to take his blood and any cut he could make on himself would heal before it could bleed. It needs to be intravenously injected.

| RaMan19 (32) | 11 months ago | Possibly, although if we're going to talk about it scientifically they would also have to be the same blood type as the person getting the blood (or O-neg), otherwise their body would reject it and it would end up doing them harm instead. Obviously Angela didn't like the fact that they shot her son but she told them on the phone that it was, "Necessary". If she didn't approve then she would have been irate, not just moderately displeased.

wonderlander (1359) | 11 months ago | Preface: I've read comics too much, and therefore know the psuedo science that they use. If the blood heals everything, then it should be able to stop the anti bodi8es from attacking, and possibly the blood cells will heal themselves to be the same type as the body that they're in. And I don't think Mama Petrelli gets irate loudly. I seriously think she gets irate quietly then puts out hits on people who made her irate.

| RaMan19 (32) | 11 months ago | Agreed on the first part, but I really don't think Angela sounded as mad as a real person would sound if you called them and told them, "Oh btw, we just killed your son." She knows they killed him but she clearly illustrates that she cares more about the company's agenda than the life of her own son.
