this love thing

what can you say about the following lines? i received this as a forwarded email from a friend: "no one falls in love by choice, it is by chance no one stays in love by chance, it is by work no one falls out of love by chance, it is by choice"

oh yah its like saying that u cant choose who or when to love. But i dont agree with the last line. i think it is all by chance when u fall out of love. sometimes u just do and its not your choice in the first place. ^-^

my take on this is that... it may not be true in all cases. like the first line that goes "you fall in love by chance not by choice"... sometimes, even if a person falls in love by chance, he/she chooses not to because the love is something that's not supposed to be. like if he/she fell in love with someone who's married already, he/she can choose not to love that person anymore. the second line about "staying in love by work", i agree to that totally. and you're right about the 3rd line. it is not always our choice but we could choose to stay in love despite the problems. thanks for replying.

I agree with those words too! I think that no one falls in love by choice because it's something you feel not something you chose but you can always choose whether to pursue what you feel or just ignore it cause it'll disappear if you don't entertain that feeling. And loving is always a choice if you love someone and you work for that love just to grow then. it will grow. So, if you really love someone work for that and never let that go.^_^ How about you chari_dc? Do you believe in these statements?

i truly agree with the above lines.its correct that love just happens.we dont have to prepare ourselves for this.also we really need to work hard to keep our love safe and secure.we just cannot take our love for granted since it does stay by our luck or chance.if our love goes away from us there is definately some fault of ours as well.and then we dont have any chance but just to repent.
