8.  Wisteria (100) | 6 months ago |  Disney movies? Ahh... well, I really loved the Disney Princesses movies (Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid.)
Though, I think my favourite would be Sleeping Beauty. I don't know... perhaps as a little girl I wanted a Prince Charming that'd fight dragons and rescue me?
Though as I got older, I preferred the movies with strong female leads rather than a damsel in distress. Therefore I began to like Mulan, a girl who went against typical stereotypes and what was expected for her gender and was able to fight on the same playing field as boys. Compared to the Disney Princesses, I think Mulan is a better role model.
Though I notice now that Mulan is appearing on Disney Princess merchandise even if she's not a real "princess."
