I have had strep before it is no fun. I am getting getting sick but i cant its a combo between not sleeping and taking care or my kids.

I do hope your son gets better Copper. Make sure he gets the proper nutrition along with his medication. It'll help. Try to get him some lemon/lemon tea, and honey(if appropriate). Make sure he doesn't exert himself and if he needs to nap/sleep, then he needs to do that, let him at it. He'll recover in due time. He'll bounce back better than before too.

As for me, so far its more random aches but nothing major. Not even any real cold symptoms. I hope my luck holds out.

I've never personally had strep throat, though my sister did when we were teenagers. My kids, husband, and I are currently sick with a cold though. We've had it for the past 2 weeks. Yuck! We are just about over it, with a little bit of a runny nose and a cough. My oldest got it the worst. My poor baby threw up more than once a few days after he caught it. The rest of us were lucky and didn't throw up, though it was still a bad cold for all of us.
