My doctor gave me therapy exercises for my scoliosis but I often forget about it since I'm usually busy. For those who have scoliosis, what do you think is the best treatment for it? Do you think having surgery would make the situation better or worse?

You go and see a doctor. There have certain scoliosis curvature boundaries where you'll just need to exercise, wear a brace or get a surgery.
I have dextroscoliosis with an S-shaped curve so I have two curves. Lately my right shoulder is aching a lot, probably because I'm writing and typing on the computer for a very long time. It feels like my back muscles are getting cramped because of the curvature of my spine. Maybe its time for me to go a doctor again and have my back checked, I hope the curve hasn't worsen. Anyway, I do pilates and wear a back support I bought from a sport store when I'm at home. I want to swim every now and then because it's the best exercise to prevent the scoliosis curve from worsening but the weather nowadays are a bit cold. Also, I make it a point to drink lots of milk and take calcium supplements to make my bone stronger.
